Starting A Green Garden

Are you starting a green garden?  You’re sure to be pleased with the result, and nothing is more rewarding than caring for a garden and finally seeing it bloom.  Here are a few suggestions to keep in mind:

Fine textured plants in the foreground and rough textured plants in the background will make a space look larger, while the opposite is true to make a space look smaller.

Curving lines are more often found in nature and are found in natural style gardens.  Straight lines are more dramatic and are usually used in formal garden.

Cool colors encourage relaxation and make a space look larger and more open, while warm colors stir excitement and tend to make a space feel smaller.
